Early twentieth-century photographic advertising booklet for Hotel & Pension de la Couronne in Andermatt, Switzerland, on the St Gotthard route. The cover pairs a photograph of the hotel and a period motor car with elegant serif lettering, naming A. & S. Camenzind as proprietors and presenting Andermatt as a summer and winter destination.

The photographs offer a detailed glimpse of Alpine travel and hotel life: an open postal motor coach on the Andermatt–Furka–Meiringen route, a wicker-furnished salon, a dining room and restaurant, views over Andermatt and the Reuss waterfall, and a snowy toboggan run. A broad winter panorama extends across an opening, bringing the village and its mountain setting into a single composition.

French promotional text describes local excursions, winter sports and hotel amenities. Handwritten amendments to the printed room and board rates add a distinctive detail to this surviving piece of hotel advertising. The imprint reads Institut Art. Brügger, Meiringen. The booklet is provisionally dated to the late 1910s or early 1920s; the exact publication year is not established.

An appealing piece for collectors of Swiss hotel memorabilia, Gotthard-route tourism and early motoring or winter-sports imagery, combining intimate interior views with a wider portrait of Andermatt as an Alpine resort.
