Return & Refund Policy

This policy applies to purchases from vintages.shop, operated by Zoltán Pércsi, a sole trader based in Hungary. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

Right of Withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods. If goods from one order are delivered separately, the period begins when the last item is received. You may also notify us of withdrawal before delivery.

To exercise this right, send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to hello.vintages.shop@gmail.com or to the postal address below before the withdrawal period expires. Please include your name and order number or other information identifying your purchase. Providing a reason is optional. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not compulsory. We will acknowledge your request by email.

Returning Your Items

After notifying us of withdrawal, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before that period expires. Please contact us for practical shipping instructions; these instructions and our acknowledgement are not conditions for exercising your statutory right of withdrawal.

Please package items securely to avoid damage in transit. Keeping proof of dispatch is recommended.

Item Condition and Vintage Goods

Many of our items are vintage or previously owned. Age-related wear and imperfections disclosed in the listing form part of the item's described condition.

You may inspect goods as necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You are responsible only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection, as permitted by applicable law. Opening packaging or inspecting an item does not automatically remove your right of withdrawal.

Return Shipping Costs

For a change-of-mind withdrawal, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If we sent the wrong item, or the item is defective, damaged on arrival or materially not as described, contact us so that we can arrange an appropriate remedy and cover the necessary return shipping costs.

Refunds Following Withdrawal

We will reimburse payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw. Additional costs for premium or express delivery above the least expensive standard delivery option are not refundable.

We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first, unless we have offered to collect them.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you will not incur a fee for the reimbursement. Your payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Items

Please contact hello.vintages.shop@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible if your order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect item or is not as described. If available, include photographs of the item and packaging to help us assess the issue. We will arrange the appropriate remedy under applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. These requests are separate from change-of-mind withdrawal and do not limit your statutory rights.

Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, where the applicable legal exception applies. An item being vintage, second-hand, unique or discounted does not by itself exclude the right of withdrawal.
