vintages.shop operates this store and website, including all related information, content, functionality, tools, products and services, to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). vintages.shop is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
The following terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (collectively, "Terms of Service" or "Terms"), describe your rights and obligations in connection with your use of the Services. Please read these Terms carefully, as they contain important information about your legal rights, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting or using the Services, or interacting with them in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, please do not use or access the Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By accepting these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are of legal age in your state or territory of residence, and that you consent to allowing any minor dependents to use the Services on devices you own, purchase, or manage.
To use the Services, including browsing or purchasing products, you may be required to provide certain information such as your email address, billing, payment, and shipping details.
You represent and warrant that all information you provide in our store is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have the right to provide such information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not transfer, sell, or license your account to any other person.

We have made every effort to display our products as accurately as possible in their descriptions and accompanying photos. However, please note that colors and product appearance may vary depending on the device and display settings used to access the store.
The goods we supply must conform to the description and meet the requirements of applicable consumer law. Differences in colour caused by screen or display settings do not limit your statutory rights if an item is defective or does not conform to its description. For vintage and previously owned items, please review the listing and photographs for information about age, condition and disclosed wear. The vintage or second-hand nature of an item does not by itself exclude your statutory rights. If an item is defective or not as described, contact hello.vintages.shop@gmail.com. We will provide the remedy required by applicable law; please also refer to our Return & Refund Policy.
Product descriptions may be changed at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantity of products offered to any person or geographic region.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. vintages.shop reserves the right to accept or refuse any order at its sole discretion and for any reason. Payment must be received and processed before an order is accepted. Please review your order carefully before submitting. You may request cancellation before fulfillment by contacting hello.vintages.shop@gmail.com. Order confirmation or fulfillment does not remove any statutory right of withdrawal. Where that right applies, you may withdraw without giving a reason before delivery and within 14 days after receiving the goods, or the last item if goods from one order are delivered separately. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for the withdrawal procedure, return deadlines, refund terms and applicable exceptions. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Purchases are for personal or household use only and are not for resale or export purposes.
SECTION 4 – PRICING AND BILLING
Prices, discounts, and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service is the price in effect at the time the order is placed, as confirmed in your order confirmation email. We operate under the Hungarian small-business VAT exemption (alanyi adómentesség). We do not charge Hungarian VAT on sales covered by that exemption. This does not imply that every cross-border transaction is exempt from tax. Consumer prices include any taxes that we are legally required to include. Shipping charges and any additional amounts collected by us are disclosed before you place your order. For deliveries outside the EU customs territory, destination-country import taxes, customs duties or carrier clearance fees may be payable separately if they are not collected at checkout. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for information about import charges.
Prices in our online store may differ from those in physical stores or third-party online retailers. We may offer promotions subject to separate terms; in the event of a conflict between promotional terms and these Terms, the promotional terms shall prevail.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all transactions made in our store, and to promptly update your account details, including email address, card number, and expiration date, as needed.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Estimated delivery times are stated in our Shipping Policy. If we become aware of a significant delay, we will inform you. Carrier or customs delays do not remove your mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable rights relating to late delivery or non-delivery. For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. If you independently commission a carrier that we did not offer, risk passes when we hand the goods to that carrier, where applicable law permits. If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact hello.vintages.shop@gmail.com. We will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement or a refund. Any carrier claim or shipping insurance arrangement does not limit your statutory rights against us. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for information about delivery and any applicable import charges.
SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services, including all trademarks, brands, text, displayed materials, images, graphics, product reviews, video and audio content, and their design, selection, and arrangement, are owned by vintages.shop, its partners, or licensors, and are protected by applicable patent, copyright, and other intellectual property laws.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of the transaction between you and vintages.shop, including any injury, damage, or loss arising from products or services purchased.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law that would apply in the absence of this choice, including those of your country of habitual residence where applicable. The courts competent to hear a dispute are determined by applicable jurisdiction rules. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring proceedings exclusively in Budapest or limits any mandatory rights to bring proceedings before other competent courts.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Services. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
