Bold, angular blue “SANREMO” lettering sweeps across a sky divided into vivid bands of yellow, orange and red. Dark palm fronds and tall flowering agave stems frame a sweeping coastal view, with a pale curved bay, deep blue water and a cluster of stylised buildings along the shore.

The black lower panel carries the hotel’s name in warm golden lettering, followed by the French wording “Ouvert toute l’année”, advertising year-round opening. Strong colour contrasts, simplified forms and dynamic typography give the design its distinctive Art Deco character with Italian Futurism influences. A striking piece for collectors of Riviera hotel memorabilia, vintage travel graphics and Italian seaside ephemera.

Type: Hotel luggage label

Condition: Very Good (VG)

Size: 9.8 × 7.3 cm (3.86 × 2.87 inches)

Style: Art Deco / Italian Futurism Influenced Riviera Travel Ephemera

Location: Sanremo, Italian Riviera, Italy

Date: 1930s

Hotel: Grand Hotel Bellevue

Printed by: Arti Grafiche E.
